Def Leppard’s greatest tracks drastically reimagined and sounding bigger and more exhilarating than ever before. The band are incredibly excited about this album. They were determined to reinvent the orchestral rock formula. They very much see this as a reimagination. When you hear the overtures to the songs or even the band and orchestra in full flight, it is absolutely exhilarating: rocket-powered nostalgia for die-hard fans, a glorious & affectionate representation for those of us who were there in the 80’s, what sounds like the most thrilling new gaming or Bond film soundtrack for newcomers The band have quite deliberately deconstructed and rebuilt not only some of their biggest tracks but also those that have not yet enjoyed their full moment in the limelight. By and large, they have crafted everything from the original tapes but, alongside the orchestra, the album includes new vocals and guitars where necessary. At some points Joe even duets with his 22yr old self
